Sharon Lynn Busick Patton, Maumelle, died March 22.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Sam Patton.
She is survived by husband Robert Patton, son Matt Patton, sister Mary Atkinson, brother Michael Busick, niece Cindy Halloran and her husband John, niece Marcy Lewis, and adopted grandkids Alex and Ellie Halloran.
She was born October 8, 1935, to Emmitt and Georgia Busick.
She grew up in the Park Hill neighborhood of North Little Rock. She graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1953 and that same year was a Rose Princess in the Greater Little Rock Rose Festival.
She was employed as a file supervisor at Southwestern Bell, as a legal secretary, and as office manager at the Central United States Earthquake Consortium, but her major joys in life were raising her sons and caring for her niece's children, Alex and Ellie, and caring for her many beloved dogs and cats.
Services will be graveside at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 27.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to Maumelle Animal Services in Maumelle, Arkansas.
