Funeral services for Viola Williams, 70, of Rosenberg, will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at Garmany & Carden Chapel in Rosenberg. Father Eric Pitre will officiate. The burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Williams, born Feb. 28, 1920 in Needville, died Tuesday at a Houston hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Williams; daughter, Veta Buzek and husband, Mike of Rosenberg; son, Bruce M. Williams and wife, Nancy of Spring; mother Otillie Barta of Needville; grandchildren, Natalie Oakes of Rosenberg, Becky and Russell Williams of Spring, and Taryn Wilkinson and Brittany Buzek of Rosenberg; sisters, Lillie Wallis of Needville and Emma Craig of Chico, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
