Hazel Benita Fite Holt age 71 of Arkadelphia passed from this life on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born July 9, 1941 in Joan, the daughter of Benjamin Felix and Augusta Benita Thompson. Hazel was a retired waitress, a homemaker and a member of Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie F. Holt Sr.
Hazel is survived by two sons, James w. Holt of Arkadelphia (Leanne), Jr. of Glen Rose, two daughters, Bobby Holt of Mountain Pine and Rosezetta A. (Mitch) Luna of Yuma, AZ, one step-daughter, Patricia Dyer of Mountain Pine, three brothers, Hillard Fite of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Ronnie Fite of Prattsville and Marvin Fite of Joan, four sisters, Frances Drake of Metarie, LA, Marie LaFayette of Malvern, Martha Helvering of Tull and Marcella Ross of Joan and seven grandchildren, Kimberly, Joshua, Benjamin, Jacob, Jared, Marcus and Joey.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Hardin officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Welch Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Round Hill Cemetery.
Final arrangements are entrusted to the Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
