Funeral services were held last Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Tacoma for Herman D. Sloppy, a former resident of Bonners Ferry, who passed away September 21.
Burial was in the Mountain View Memorial Park at Tacoma.
He leaves his wife, Flossie B.; five daughters, Mrs. Ina Farrell and Mrs. Edna Bass, both of Tacoma, Mrs. Leona Dunning, Bonners Ferry, Mrs. Mary Knutson, Seattle, and Jeanne Hillstrom, Oakville, Wash.; five sons, Don Sloan, Tacoma; Sgt. Charles W. Sloppy, Kennewick; Robert F. Sloppy, Oakville, and Herman D. Sloppy, Tieton; 40 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
