She is also survived by a special niece and nephew and their families, Mary Lane Hester and Donald Hester all of Durham.

Elizabeth was a very good seamstress and an excellent cook. She was skilled at canning and freezing produce from the garden. She especially liked to grow roses. These things she did for her family and friends. She was a member of the Fuquay-Varina Garden Club and the Needmore Home Demonstration Club. She assisted with the cooking and chaperoning for many youth church camps.

Most importantly, Mrs. Adcock was devoted to her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was also a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who exemplified grace and a gift of hospitality that will not soon be forgotten.
