Graveside services for Virginia Ellis, 66, of Quincy, Ill. will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock in the Linville cemetery in Edina. The Rev. Paul D. Beran, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church of Quincy, Ill., will conduct the services under the direction of Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home of Edina.
Miss Ellis died Monday 27 Oct 1975 in a hospital in Chicago, Ill. She had been in failing health for sometime.
Born April 1, 1909 in Madison, Wisc., she was the daughter of Charles T. and Emma Jane Heller Ellis. Most of her life had been spent in the Chicago, Ill area until 13 months ago when she moved to Quincy, Ill.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. V. Hone (Genevieve) Campbell of south of Edina; one brother, Robert Ellis of Madison, Wisc and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mable Ellis.
Miss Ellis was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Memorial services were held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon in Chicago, Illinois.
