Lois Mary (Stower) Kaczor, 90, of Milan, passed away in the Willows of Willard on Thursday, March 21, 2013.
She was born to Clarence and Alma (Godfred) Stower at Snow Hill (Plank Road) in Milan. Lois graduated from Milan High School in 1940.
She married Edward L. Kaczor on Jan. 6, 1944, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Lakewood, Ohio. They made their home in Milan.
She was a homemaker for most of her life. Going out to eat with her family and friends was one of her favorite pastimes. She was an avid gin rummy card player.
Lois is survived by her eight children, Edward Kaczor and Mary McPherson, of Milan, Helen (Steve) Ewell, of South Amherst, Kathleen (Doug) Laux, of Lima, Ohio, Jane (Dave) Chandler, of New London, Margaret (Dave) Wollenhaupt, of Arvada, Colo., Patricia (Gene) Rowland, of Norwalk, and Veronica (Dave) Kramb, of Huron. Lois had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she always enjoyed.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; and her brothers, Donald and Howard Stower.
She has requested that there be no services or flowers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Willows of Willard, Stein Hospice, Milan Museum, or St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Milan.
