BODIN, BERNICE "MeMa" of Terrell passed away April 9, 2005 at her residence. She was born on October 8, 1924 to the late Jim Riley and Dessie Lee Griffith Starr in Van Zandt County. Bernice worked for Southland Athletic for 48 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Odie Bodin and brother, Billy Wayne Starr. Bernice is survived by her son, Odie Paul Bodin of Terrell; daughters, Linda Bankston and husband A.B. of Terrell, Sheril Cotten and husband Gaylon of Edgewood and Donna Stephens and husband Tony of Terrell; grandchildren, Richie Baker, Brett Bankston and wife Sheri, Amber Bookman and husband Jerry, Gaylon Don Cotten and wife Lynn, Jinnie Staats and husband Jimmy, Stephanie Massey and husband Jerry, Crissy Meador and husband Jerry, Missy Stephens and B. J. Evans, Paula Renfro and husband Jasen, Angela Rossi and husband David, Christine Bodin and Kyle Bankston; 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Malcolm Starr of Wills Point, Gary William Starr of Mt. Vernon; sisters Mary Kanaman of Campbell, Joyce Tucker of Mesquite, Shirley Rush of Wills Point; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and family friend Bobbie Archer. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with Rev. Joe Rosenquist officiating. Interment will follow Oakland Memorial Park.
