TREMONT – Danny Ray "Goose" Aters, 47, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born March 17, 1966, to Arthur William Aters and Lillie Rose Aters. He was an avid Florida Gator's football fan, enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends.
Service is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Steven officiating. Burial is at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Wigginton Aters of Tremont; daughter, Kaitlin Aters of Tremont; son, Kenny "Boone" Aters of Tremont; two brothers, Charles Aters of Red Bay, Ala., and Keith (Charity) Aters of Tremont; brother and sister-in-law, James (Marsha) Risner of Tremont; three nephews, Stewart Risner of Tremont, Nick Risner of Tremont and Brian Risner of Tremont; six nieces, Karolyn-Marie Aters of Tremont, Brittney Aters of Tremont, Michelle Risner of Tremont, Miley Risner of Tremont, Missy Kent of Tremont and C.J. Kent of Tremont; father-in-law, Joe Wigginton of Fulton; and mother-in-law, Retha Wigginton of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur William Aters; and mother, Lillie Aters.
