He was born April 18, 1925 in Hutchinson, the son of Leo L. "Mike" and Winnie N. Lee Starks.
A US Navy Veteran, he was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad.
In 1972, Bob married Pearl E. Foster at Hutchinson. She died July 25, 2007.
He was preceded in death by 11 siblings and a grandson.
Cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will take place. Memorials are suggested to the Sterling Presbyterian Manor in care of Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, Hutchinson.
