Mr. Marvin Henderson Adams, 94 of Winston Salem. passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. He was born in Yadkin County, February 1, 1919. Mr. Adams was the last surviving of the 12 children of Nathan Adams and Etta Collins Adams. He was a retired employee of Western Electric with 30 years of service and was also a watchmaker for over 50 years. His favorite hobbies were gardening, hunting and fishing. Surviving, his wife M. Susan Wooten Adams; one daughter, Kathryn L. Sheppard and husband Larry of Concord; one son, Tommy E. Adams of Winston Salem. Five, grandchildren and eleven, great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held for Mr. Adams, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Park Cemetery. J.C. Green and Sons 10301 N.NC Hwy. 109 Winston Salem is in charge of arrangements.
