Service for Donna Inez Hatcher, 83, of Many, daughter of George Hatcher, and Charlotte (Lottie) Abington, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 17, at St. John's Catholic Church in Many, with the pastor, Father Kenneth A. Williams officiating. Burial was in the Church Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Miss Hatcher died at 5:30 a.m., Thursday, August 14, 1985, at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital in Natchitoches, La. She was a talented musician and retired music teacher, had attended St. John's Catholic School in Many, St. Vincents Academy, Shreveport, and Catholic University in Washington D. C., where she majored in music. She had taught violin and piano in Monroe and Many. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Many, where she was
choir organist for many years.

Pall bearers were Johnnie Mowad, Dr. David A. Lee, Thomas J. Phillips, Harry Clotfelter, Robin Mathis, and Jim Mathis.

Survivors are Mrs. John S. Pickett, Sr. (nee Margaret Hatcher), a sister, Sarah A. Vandegaer, a step sister, and a number of nieces and nephews.
