Mr. Richard J. Harber, 67, of Lithia Springs, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Gerral Richards officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 pm until 10 pm at Sosebee Funeral Home.
Richard served in the U.S. Marine Corps, retired from CSX Railroad Transportation and was a member of Hightower Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing the piano, singing and baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Laura Harber; survivors include his wife of 20 years and a host of other family members and friends. Names of survivors are omitted to protect their privacy. (ISL)
