Funeral Set for Ernest Boysen, 73
Ernest Boysen, prominent resident of the Rupert Community, died Sunday at about 9 p.m. in Yoakum. Services are set for Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Yoakum funeral home, with interment following in the Rupert cemetery with Rev. Paul Bechter, pastor of the Lutheran church, officiating.
Boysen was born June 24, 1880 in Germany and came to this country when he was a small child with his parent, settling in the Rupert community where he was a farmer. He was a member of the Lutheran church.
Survivors include two sons; H. C. Boysen, Yoakum, and Victor Boysen of the Rupert community; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Wild, Rupert; five brothers Richard, Herman, and Willie, all of Gonzales. Fred of Poth, and Henry of Five Mile; a sister, Mrs. Ella Johnson, Cuero; and four grandchildren.
