Son of Simeon (Sim) Sackett and Eda Hayes Sackett.

Note: the first name as used on the headstone inscription is "Justus"; it can also be found as "Justice" in some sources, which would obviously be an easy phonetic spelling version to be made by those not familiar with the given name spelling.

A middle initial "B" is found on the headstone inscription; don't know what name that initial stands for, however.

Death of Justus Sackett

Justus Sackett died quite suddenly at his home just north of the city Monday shortly before noon from dropsy. He had resided in this county since 1870, coming hither from Mahoning county, Ohio, where he was born and grew to manhood. He had been in ill health almost ever since his removal here, but even those who were constantly with him did not think that the end was so near. Mr. Sackett was sixty-five years of age. He was one of a family of nine children, all of whom grew to mature years and seven of whom are now living. He was a brother of F. Sackett (sic. Freeman Sackett) of this city, and of Simeon, Misses Acsah (sic. Achsah) and Bettie (sic. Betsy) Sackett and Mrs. Clark Chidester, who reside elsewhere in the county. The funeral occurred yesterday, services being conducted by Rev. G. W. Mapes, pastor of the Christian church.
