Carl "Ray" Harmon, 65, of Olney, died at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at his residence.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Minister Larry Weber officiating.
Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park near Claremont.
Mr. Harmon was born on September 14, 1939, in Olney, the son of Pearl and Violet (Dunlap) Harmon. He was 1st married to Barbara Crump; Candy, Tom and Cindy. He remarried to Verna Detruf on August 18, 1972; Ryan and Brock.
He was a retired plumber.
Mr. Harmon is survived by his wife, Verna Harmon, of Olney; his mother, Violet Harmon, of Olney; three sons, Ryan Harmon and his wife, Sherry, of Olney, Brock Harmon, of Olney, and Tom Harmon and his wife, Theresa, of Lawrenceville; two daughters, Candy Fulton and her husband, John, of Bridgeport, and Cindy Withiem and her husband, Roger, of Lawrenceville; a stepson, Kent Reid and his wife, Lori, of Albion; a brother and 5 sisters, Juanita Runyon and her husband, Roscoe, of Olney, Ruby Haws, of Olney, Bob Harmon and his wife, Lovetta, of Calhoun, Rosemary Bass and special friend, Charlie Ash, of Albion, Ann Govers and her husband, Frank and Linda Jackson, of Olney; and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, one sister and one nephew.
