Mrs Bessie J Reynolds, 430 Hogestown Road, died last night in the home of her son, Mervin S Reynolds, with whom she lived. She was 82 years old.

Born on May 15, 1884, she was the daughter of the late William E and Sally Sheriff Bear. She was a member of the Mechanicsburg Methodist Church.

In addition to her son, she is survived by two brothers, Frank Bear, RD5, and Orrie Bear, Plainfield; three sisters, Mrs Zula Wetzel, Greason, and Mrs Sara Hoover and Mrs Margie Shughart, both of Mt Holly Springs, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am in the Myers Funeral Home, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg. The Rev J Frederic Moore, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday until 9 pm.
