Funeral services for Mr. Virgil Junior Coleman, 65, of Dexter will be held Wednesday at Clearview Baptist Church in East Dublin at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Johnson County. The Rev. Curtis Sumner, the Rev. Lamar Kersey and the Rev. Earl Miller will officiate.
Mr. Coleman was born in Emanuel County, Nov. 2, 1941 to the late James Roie and Marie McKenzie Coleman. He was employed in automobile body shop repairs for many years and later retired. Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by two brothers, Morris and Eugene Coleman. Mr. Coleman died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007.
