James Allred Services Held
Word has been received by relatives in Central of the death of James Anderson Allred, a long-ago resident here. He passed away in Pacoima, California, on Tuesday, March 4, following a brief illness.
James was a son of the late Orin E. Allred and Adelia Watson Allred. He was born in Central, January 19, 1911. Later he moved to Miami, with his parents, and then to Phoenix.
On January 9, 1937 he was married to Zola Thompson of Phoenix and she, with two daughters, survive him. He is also survived by a brother, Orin Allred, and a sister, Mrs. Effie Craig, and numerous relatives here in the valley. He is a nephew of W. T. Watson of Thatcher and Charles Watson of Safford, and a cousin of Mrs. Rhoda Cluff in Central.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Watson attended funeral services, which were held Saturday at the L.D.S. Church in Pacoima. At Mesa Mr. and Mrs. Watson were joined by their brother, Harva J. Watson, who accompanied them to Pacomia to attend the funeral services.
