He was born Dec. 12, 1910 in Cook
Township. He graduated from Schaller
High School in 1927. He attended the
Davis School of Electronics and TV in
Waterloo. After attending school he
helped his father farm until entering the
service in March of 1942. He served with
an Air Service Squadron during World
War II, 10 months in the U.S. and 34 months
in Northern Africa. After returning
to the U.S. he worked as a postal clerk in
Waterloo and retired after 30 years.
Larsen was a member of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church in Schaller.
Survivors include two sisters, Clara
Youngren of Odebolt and Mrs. Floyd
