He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors: mother, Nell B. Bazemore of Sylvania; sister, E. Gaynell Bazemore of Dumfries, VA; two aunts; one uncle; several nieces and nephews and an extended family, the Swartz Family of Savannah.
Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Friendship Baptist Church. Burial: Church Cemetery.
