Floyd F. Ferguson
94, of Capac, died Friday July 21, 2006 at Medilodge of Yale. He was born November 26, 1911 in Capac the son of the late Ralph and Helen Howard Ferguson. His marriage to Maxine Schutzler was April 10, 1940 in capac. Maxine passed away Friday, March 4, 2005.
Floyd was owner of Ferguson Plumbing & Heating in Capac for many years until his retirement. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Capac, and loved to garden with Maxine.
Surviving are granddaughter Nicole Ferguson of Capac and brother Hugh Ferguson of Mt. Clemens and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Fred Ferguson on July 14, 2003.
Out of all the trips to Canada Creek, Sault St. Marie, and Mackinac Island, his favorite place to be was on the front porch with Maxine.
Nicole honors her grandfather as a major father figure in her life. In addition to the many values he instilled in her, she'd also like to remember one of his favorite sayings "You're never any better than anyone else but always remember you're just as good".
His family honors the memory of Floyd and invites you to attend graveside memorial services 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 27, 2006 at Capac Cemetery, Capac. Rev. John Allen, pastor of Yale United Methodist Church, will officiate.
