Doris Imogene Pflaum, 89, of Olney, died at 3:10 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Burgin Manor.
Doris was born on December 30, 1923, in Albion, the daughter of Claud and Lois (Day) Clark.
She loved her dogs, gardening, canning, and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings and taking pictures of family members. She will be sorely missed by her friends, family, and church family.
Doris was a member of Grace Evangelical Church, Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Margaret Pflaum; grandson, Deon Scott; grandson, Garren Pflaum; grandson, Trent Pflaum; granddaughter, Bethany Pflaum-Lewis; eight great-grandchildren, James, Alexander, Addison, Maci, Mitchell, Courtney, Billy, and Rostin; one Great great-grandchild, Kinley; cousin, Katherine Strand; and close friend, Carla Goss.
Doris was preceded in death by her mother and a son, Ed Pflaum.
Funeral services were held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Pastor Mark Krell officiating.
Burial followed the service at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.
