Mrs. Lola Edwards Hill, 94, of King passed away Friday, April 8, 2005, at her home. She was born Sept. 28, 1910, in Stokes County to Samuel T. and Nora Boyles Edwards. She was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist faith. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert G. Edwards and Samuel Odell Edwards; and a sister, Lonnie Edwards Baker. Mrs. Hill is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin Eugene and Frances S. Hill and Samuel Matthew and Judy H. Hill; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at Cox-Needham Chapel. Interment will follow at Boyles Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 9, at the funeral home.
