Ruth Aban , 94, of Green View Road, in Chesapeake, died April 27, 2009, in the Churchland House, Portsmouth.
She was born July 5, 1914, in Philadelphia, and was the daughter of the late Sarah and Max Brodheim. She was preceded in death by her husband, German Aban and her grandson, Barry Densten.
Survivors include her daughter, Dolores and her son-in-law Earl Densten.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
