Billy Barber, 60, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home. Mr. Barber was born Dec. 21, 1952, in DeKalb, Texas. He was a laborer.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Clay of Texarkana; three sons, James Clay and Tony Clay of Texarkana and Mingo Clay of Bivins, Texas; one daughter, Pamela Clay of Texarkana; his mother, Mary Barber Daniels of DeKalb; three sisters, Lynda Threadgill and Barbara Daniels of DeKalb and Deloris Reliford of Commerce, Texas; 10 brothers, Calvin Daniels, Derrick Daniels, Donald Daniels, Bobby Reliford, Jeffery Reliford, Henry Reliford, Billy Reliford, Bennie Reliford, Anthony Reliford and Richard Reliford of Commerce; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 11am Saturday at Mount Pisgah CME Church, DeKalb, with the Rev. Danny Traylor officiating. Burial will be in Garland Community Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary.
