Ronnie "Cookie" Otis Casey, age 65, of the Clarks Valley section, Swords Creek, Virginia passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his home.

He was born in Swords Creek, Virginia and was the son of the late Dock and Sadie Newberry Casey. He was a retired route salesman for Pepsi Cola and was a lifelong resident of the area. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by seven brothers, Arvis Casey, Roger Casey, Arnold Casey, Ralph Casey, Bailey Casey, Ellis Casey and Bobby Casey.

He is survived by:

Funeral services for Ronnie "Cookie" Otis Casey will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Ronald Ellis officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be David Casey, Cody Casey, Douglas Sargent, Kevin Casey, Austin Hess, Shawn Sargent, Timothy Casey, and Shane Casey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Saturday evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia
