As evidence that the printers were not forgotten, we gracefully acknowledge the receipt of a piece of the “Wedding Cake.”
May the serene light of the morning of their wedded life, be undimmed even by passing clouds; but may it increase in brilliancy to the noon of their earthly career, and may the mellow tint of the Autumn of a well spent life guide their fact to still happier climes in the “Christian's Fatherland.” May they ever remember that,
“A sacred burden is this life we bear;
Look on it, lift it, bear it solemnly;
Stand up and walk beneath it steadfastly.
