Daughter of the late W. N. and Florence Hamer Stubbs, she was a native of Marlboro County. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was also active in the Garden club work as long as her health permitted.
Surviving are one son, W. H. McIntyre Jr., of Bennetsville; three daughters, Mrs. J. F. Highsmith (Cornelia) of Myrtle Beach, Miss Florence McIntyre of the home and Mrs. Gerald Johnson (Catherine) of Amherst, Va,; one brother, Dan H. Stubbs of Windsor, N. C.; three sisters, Mrs. J. G. Harper of Anderson. Miss Florence Stubbs of Farmville, Va. and Miss May Stubbs of the home.
