Buel Thomas Pitman, 88, husband of Rebecca Hurst Pitman, of Danville, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington.
He retired from the US Navy and was a retired auto mechanic for Pitman's Auto Repair, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy, and two daughters, Jenny Alverson and Kathy Brogli.
Graveside services with Military Honors were held Wednesday, March 27 at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville with Stephen Brogli officiating.
