Sharon Mary Lyons passed away on Saturday in Livermore, CA at the age of 83.
Sharon is survived by her children Sharon Calonico (Bob), James Lyons, Jr., Laura Ford, Diane Lyons and Margaret Lyons; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Lyons, Sr.
Sharon was born and raised in Iowa. She married the love of her life, James Lyons in 1956 and moved to San Ramon, CA in 1964 where they raised their five children. She was an avid knitter and reader who loved being a wife and homemaker. Her sweetness and silly sense of humor will be truly missed by all who loved her.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25 from 5-7 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26 at 10 a.m. at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 11555 Shannon Avenue, Dublin. Burial will follow at Dublin Pioneer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kindred Hospice in Dublin. Sharon's children would like to thank the caregivers at A. Gabriela's Villa in Livermore for loving and caring for our Mom over the last 6 years.
