Rose Mae Blanchard Robichaux

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Rose Mae Blanchard Robichaux, 92, who died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Daniel Besse officiating the services.

Ms. Robichaux loved gardening. She most enjoyed her beautiful flower beds and her other pastime was cutting grass. She also liked needlework, cross stitch, cooking, baking, and crossword puzzles. She truly enjoyed visiting with her many friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Minos Nunez, Barry Toups, Clarence LeBlanc, Mike Hebert, Chad Robichaux, and Dirk David.

She is survived by one son, Charles Robichaux and his wife, Peggy of Lafayette; one grandson, Chad Robichaux and his wife, Rachel of Ruston; and one great granddaughter, Tori Robichaux of Ruston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy John Robichaux; her parents, Paul and Oza (Landry) Blanchard; and her siblings, Beulah Guilbeau, Preston Blanchard, Effie Broussard, Theosa Hebert, Dewey Blanchard, and Laurent Blanchard.

Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 9 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m.
