William Yealy

William A. Yealy Sr., 77, of 3 Mitchell Court, Hanover, died Wednesday morning at 8;50 a.m. at the Hanover Hospital where he was a patient three weeks.
Born in Maryland, he was a son of the late William A. and Lulu (Schoot) Yealy. His first wife Marguerite Roth, died in 1960. Surviving is his second wife Meriam Becker Yealy.
He was a former owner of Yealy's Grocery Store, McSherrystown and was employed by the Hanover Shoe Co. for 45 years.
A member of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, McSherrtstown, he was also a member of the Holoy Name Society of the Church and the McSherrystown Council of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters and two sons: Mrs. George Barr, Second St., McSherrystown; Mrs. Robert A. Brodbeck 517 South St., McSherrystown; Mrs. Hugh Mull, New Geneva, Pa.;m William A. Yealy, Jr. 400 South St., McSherrystown and Richard Yealy, Main St., McSherrystown 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also surviving are two step daughters and five stepsons: Mrs. Gloria Myers, Littlestown; Mrs. Rodey Staub, New Oxford; William A. Foltch and Glenn P. Flotch all of Hanover; Merele E. Schultz, Alaska; and these brothers and sisters; Leo Yealy, Hanover; Frank Yealy, Nashville, Tenn.; Robert Yealy, New Oxford; Mrs. Marie Breighner, Wilmington, Del. and Miss. Louise Yealy, Hanover.
