Cheryl (Bray) Tyler, 56, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, died Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was a 1974 graduate of Cabot High School and was an active member of Pocahontas Missionary Baptist Church where she loved working with the children's ministry. Her family was very important to her; she was a loving wife, mother, granny, a wonderful daughter and a great sister.
Cheryl was the daughter of Betty Bray of Ward and the late Carl E. Bray. Survivors include her husband of thirty-eight years, Michael Tyler of Pocahontas; two sons, John C. Tyler of Memphis, Tennessee and Jason D. Tyler and wife Leann of Corning; two grandchildren, Duncan and Kairi Tyler of Corning; and one sister, Carlyn Bray of Ward. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Bray and her father, both of Ward.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Pocahontas Missionary Baptist Church, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 before the service. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery, Stokes.
Memorials may be made to Pocahontas Missionary Baptist Church, 2719 Thomasville St., Pocahontas, AR 72455. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
