She was born May 2, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was a teacher for Wetzel County Schools; a member of the First Christian Church in New Martinsville and WVEA. Pat loved her grandchildren. She loved to read, loved flowers and gardening, and loved anything to do with technology.
Pat was preceded in death by her father, William E. Burrough; two brothers, Kenneth Burrough and Arvil Allen Burrough; and her stepmother, Carole Burrough.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, John "Bob" Bland; her mother, Virginia J. McCluskey Burrough of St. Clairsville, Ohio; two daughters, Jacque Bland (Rob Cornelius) of Parkersburg, WV and Ashlea (Herb) Minch of Valley Grove, WV; two brothers, Jerry (Judy) Burrough of Henderson, KY and Brad (Connie) Burrough of Glen Dale, WV; three sisters, Charlene (Tom) Walsh of North Carolina, Judy (Rick) Kolin of Florida and Alisa (Danny) Wallace of Kentucky; two grandchildren, Zachary and Alivia Minch who were her life; special sister-in-law, Iris "Deaner" (Jim) Isaacs; several nieces, nephews, the many students' lives that she touched; and her beloved dog, Oscar.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville.
Visitation will also be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, corner of Maple and Locust Streets, New Martinsville, with Rev. Dr. Victor L. Hunter officiating.
Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville.
