Her mother's name was Chloe Eliza Craig.
---------
Serephia F. Lombard was born June 9, 1906, and died March 14, 1912, aged 6 years, 9 months and 5 days.
She was taken with scarlet fever in November 1911 and never fully recovered from this disease, other complications following it.
She had been a silent sufferer for four months. Her suffering brought no word of impatience or complaint but during it all she was patient and loving, trying to cause as little trouble as possible.
She has gone where there is no more pain or sorrow. She was a little bud that gave forth the fragrance of a loving spirit, was loved by every one who knew her and will be greatly missed in the home and by her many friends.
She leaves a father who is sorely afflicted, also a mother and one sister to mourn her loss.
The funeral was held at the family residence in this city Friday, March 15, by Rev. G. B. Sherman, pastor of the M. E. Church, South, and interment in East cemetery.
