Waverly, Dec. 24 - Mrs. Mary Isabelle Lombard, 92, died at 5:05 p.m. Friday in Memorial hospital, Springfield, where she had been a patient for a few days.
Mrs. Lombard was born on Sept. 14, 1863, near Waverly, the daughter of Hezikia and Rosellar Violett Hamiton, and was married on Dec. 24, 1883, t Joseph Ballard Lombard, who died on June 6, 1938.
Mrs. Lombard was a member of the Methodist church, the official board of the church W.S.C., and until recent years has been active in church and club work.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Wiese funeral home, with Rev. Ralph Fitch officiating. Burial in Waverly East cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Isabelle Lombard, a well known resident of Waverly, died Friday, Dec. 23, at Memorial hospital, Springfield, at the age of 92 years. She had entered the hospital on December 18th.
Mrs. Lombard was born near Waverly, September 14, 1863, the daughter of the late Hezekiah and Rosellar Violett Hamilton.
On December 24, 1883, she was married to Joseph Ballard Lombard, who preceded her in death June 6, 1938.
Mrs. Lombard is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edith Etter, and son-in-law, Robert Etter, and two nephews, H. R. Burnett and W. H. Jones, all of Waverly.
For many years Mrs. Lombard had been a member of the Waverly Methodist church, the WSCS, and was a member of the official board of the church for many years. Until recent years she had been active in church and club work.
Funeral services were held at the Wiese Funeral home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Ralph W. Fitch, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.
Burial was in East cemetery.
