John M. Cramer, 87, died Wednesday , June 21, 2000 at Hill Country Memorial
Hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 26, at 2 p.m., in the Fredericksburg
United Methodist Church with the Reverend Monte Marshall and Larry Altman
officiating.

Marilyn Jenkins was the Organist and Linda Thompson was the vocal soloist.
Graveside services and interment were held Tuesday June 27 at 11 a.m., in the
Resthaven Memorial Park in Houston with the Rev. Lee McKincie officiating.

Cramer was born in Houston on Feb. 19, 1913, the son of Charles O. Cramer and
Annie Ehardt Cramer. He married Irene Loviette on June 12, 1942 in St. Marks
Methodist Church in Houston and she survives. Cramer entered the U.S. Navy as a
Sea Bee in 1942 and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was an electrical
engineer in aviation. He attended Texas A & M University and was a song leader
for the Spares and Pairs Sunday School Class for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and her Husband, Jeannette
and Michael Vetter of Kerrville; two grandchildren and a sister, Mildred, Mrs
Charles A. Breiten of Fredericksburg.

Memorials may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7105. Pallbearers
were John R. Pooler, Raymond Pooler, Dayton Teel, Michael Kraus and Michael
Vetter. Schaetter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
