THELMA ALICE JONES born December 22, 1922 in Kendleton, Texas to W. J. Langston and Alice Holewyn Langston passed away to be with our Lord, March 26, 2013. She was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian faith. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, David Alvin Jones, sister, Genice Amason, and brothers, J.W. Langston and Hillyer Langston.
Thelma is survived by her daughters, Mary Peltier and husband, Bill of Alvin, Texas, Geraldine Jenkins and husband, George, Sr. of Saltillo, Texas, Vickie Slaton of Webster, Texas, sister, Helen Marie Vance of Angleton, Texas, brother, Walter J. Langston of Angleton, Texas, 3 granddaughters, Annette Peltier, Janet Peltier Hasse, Thelma Jenkins Vincent, 3 grandsons, David Jenkins, George Grant Jenkins, Jr., T.J. Slaton, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, numerous other relatives and friends.
