Beatrice Ann Watkins, 77, of Chattanooga, TN, died Monday, March 25, 2013, in a local hospital.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN, She graduated from Tyner High School, Class of 1953.
She was a member of White Oak Church of Christ.
Ann was a daughter of the late James A. and Florrie Adamson Roberson and was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Roberson; son-in-law, Randall Cody; and a granddaughter, Kristin Thurman.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, J.C. Watkins; three daughters, Cheryl (George) Plemons, Joy Thurman, and Carol (Rick) Ellis, all of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Martin Roberson, Harrison, TN; sister, Judy Poe, Chattanooga, TN; seven grandchildren, Brent Plemons, Kevin Plemons, Tabitha Williams, Randi Grant, Ashley Ellis, Josh Thurman and Emily Ellis; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jim Dearman officiating.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today.
