Immigrated in 1868, & was on ship for 8 weeks. Was in Vernon Co, Wisc. until 1875 when he homesteaded on Section 14, New Prairie township, Pope Co., MN. In 1888, when this book was published, he had 290 acres.
He married Martha Lermo in 1860. They had children Ole, Louis, Sever, Anna, Sophia, Hans, Betsey, Lena & Alta. Lena & Alta died before 1888.
