ORLANDO, FLA. - Jason R. Bean, 22, a lifelong resident of New Paltz, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002 in Orlando, Fla. from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born on March 13, 1979 in Kingston, a son of Bradford M. and Ruth Davis Bean of New Paltz. Along with his parents, survivors include a brother, Derek A. Bean of Cambridge, Mass; a sister, Sharon L. Bean of Croton-on-Hudson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours are Sunday, Jan. 27, from 1-2:30 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz. Services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mental Health Association of Ulster County, PO Box 2304, Kingston, NY 12402.
