See 1900 Census, Ida May Calloway,(age 7) Talladega County, AL. She is listed in house of Wm Calloway who is married to Lizzie. The family spelled it: Callaway. Also, see William Chappell on 1910 Census, Shelby County, AL after Ida's death. He is living in house of his cousin, Martin E. Williamson (son of Annie Chappell Williamson, sister to William's father, Isaac Green Chappell), listed as widowed. The Census was taken on April 19, 1910, so Ida had died by then. They were only married about 3 months when she died. William's parents, Isaac and Emma Chappell lived next door to or the next farm to William's cousin, Martin E. Williamson in Shelby County.
