Peter Timothy "Pete" Brasington, husband of Mary Louise Hoover Brasington, departed this life on the afternoon of March 26, 2013, in Walterboro, after a brief illness.

Mr. Brasington was born September 25, 1950, in Summerville, a son of Carroll O. Brasington and Mary Alice Bolton Brasington.

Pete served in the United States Army and spent 13 months on active duty in South Korea. He was an electrician by trade and worked until he became too ill.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Ronald Andrews, Jr. of Cottageville, Yvonne A. Cook (Perry) of Cottagevillle, and Tina A. Martin (Dean) of Vavalla, TX; a sister, Carolyn B. Arnold (Ed) of Summerville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and four nieces: Tiffiany A. Gray (Mark) of Mason, TX, Robin D. Walker (William) of Salisbury, NC, India K. Clark of Concord, NH, and Jackie B. Lais (Bill) of Tampa, FL; and three great-nieces and three great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jack Williams Brasington, and one sister, Peggy Alice Brasington.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, April 20, 2013, in the Summerville Cemetery.
