Nathan Leroy Jordan, Sr. age 92, of Jacksonville went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was born December 6, 1920 to the late B.D. Jordan and Fannie Fry Jordan. He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran serving during WWII where he received eight Bronze Stars for Air Offense in Europe and Normandy Campaigns. He later retired from Ft. Roots Hospital and was a member of Military Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Ruth Swaim Jordan, one son, Leroy Jordan, Jr., and one granddaughter, Rene Jordan.

He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Wooley and her husband Bob, Karen Lowrey and her husband John, grandchildren: Phillip Jordan, Stacey Donovan, Shelley Showalter,Johanna Lowrey,great-grandchildren: Brittney Skelton, Chloe' Showalter, Tatum Showalter, Logan Showalter, Connor Donovan, and Stephanie Donovan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Leonard and Bro. Tim Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
