Katherine Ulene Bartholow, 89 most recently of Danville, AR, died Monday, March 18, 2013. Katherine was born August 2, 1923 in Havana, AR to the late Joe Jackson and Mary Elizabeth Oliver Ward. She is also preceded in death by her husband Marvin Bartholow; sons Marvin Wayne Bartholow, Steve Bartholow, and Floyd Abernatha; daughter Kathy Annette Greenback; brother and sister-in-law Ted and Inez Ward, brother and sister-in-law Vester and Willie Ward; and brother-in-law Bob Inman. Katherine will always be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her.

At the time of her death, Katherine was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Ft. Smith, AR. She was a long-standing member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Spokane, Washington. She is survived by children Judy Short and Russell Bartholow of California and Tommie Abernatha of Greenwood, AR; brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Chloe Ward of Magazine, AR and sister Retha Inman of Spokane, WA; ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; nieces Judi Daily, Cathi Miller, Sue Spivey, Sarah Jackson, Geauchita Cathcart, Mary Poole, Louise Inman, and Betty Fisher; nephews Adrian Ward, Bud Ward, Fred Ward, Jim Ward, and Gene Inman.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date, with inurnment at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Waveland, AR.
