Services for Mrs. Martha Charlton, who died in a local hospital after a long illness, will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel Methodist Church in Cedar Grove.
Rev. F. B. Deason will officiate and burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Charlton was born in Angelina County and lived in Lufkin all of her life. She was a member of the Memorial Chapel Methodist Church and the Courts of Calanthe.
Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Francis Brewer and Mrs. Gwendola Redden; son, L. E.; sisters, Mrs. Mary B. Johnson and Mrs. Effie O'Quinn; brother, George Jackson; 7 grandson and 7 great-grandchildren.
