Randy Steven Bates, 54, of Conway, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Born in the city of Manila, in the Philippines, he was a son to the late Lester Steverson and Norma Jean ( Beene) Bates. Randy will be remembered as a loving brother who enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching John Wayne movies. Randy was a member of the Church of Christ.
Those left to cherish his memory, are his children: Derrick Bates and Brady Bates (Ashley), both of Stilwell, OK; sisters: Patricia Mulkey (Isaac) and Norma Gail Gunter (Jack ), both of Conway; four grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
The graveside service, under the direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home, ( 501-327-7727) will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, March 29, at Brown Cemetery in Enola. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on Thursday at the funeral home.
