An elderly man who police believe was depressed about his wife's death three years ago and who recently broke up with a female friend died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the parking lot of a lounge. Kelly E. Perry, 73, of Clay Street in Bayside Park died of a wound to the head around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, said Capt. George Burleson of the Hancock County Sheriff's Department.

Mr. Perry was the son of Earl Perry and Janie Lou Peach, who died August 5, 1924 in Nashville, Tennessee.
