He complained of feeling ill, Dr. J. P. Mooney and a resuscitator crew worked over the prostrate man for 20 minutes before pronouncing him dead of a heart attack. He was unmarried.
Canori was born in Cle Elum, September 24, 1916, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Celeste Canori. He graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1936 and spent 42 months in the Phillippines and Australia with the U. S. Army in World War II. He was a member of VFW and Eagles Lodge. He had worked in the mines at the Patrick Company and the NWI before going to the N. P. shops. He was currently a member of the Cle Elum Fire Department.
Survivors include his parents, a brother, Celeste Canori Jr., his sister-in-law, Dorothy Canori, a niece and nephew.
Funeral services ill be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Eagles Lodge Hall with Rev. Leroy Beard and the Eagles in charge. Committal will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery where graveside services will be conducted by the VFW.
